      2009 aveo5 LT cam codes

Replaced the head. No matter how many times I do the timing I keep getting cam codes. P0011 and p0014. Is timing this hard to figure out or what else could it be? Also have a down stream o2 code if that has anything to do with it

In my opinion, the most likely suspects for this problem on a 2009-2011 Aveo are:

      1) Cam sprockets installed slightly out of alignment. They must be installed perfectly in alignment with each other, and in alignment with the cams themselves.
      2) Damaged cam sprockets, they may have internal damage.
      3) Defective (plugged) cam position actuators
      4) Defective cam position sensors.

Also a downstream O2 sensor code might be caused by the cam problems, but I wouldn't spend any time chasing the O2 code until you've resolved the cam codes.

By the way, just wondering, why was the head replaced in the first place? Did the cam belt snap or fail?

Overheated due to the fan not turning on. Needed head gasket. So just got a remanned head because the bolt holes for the valve cover were all stripped.

Is there any chance it could be the ecu?
