2008 door locks

I have 2008 avero when you push the remote to lock the doors it starts locking and unlocking three door locks but the driver door does nothing and when you let off the remote the three doors are unlocked. you can manually lock all the doors with the key, just fine, and use the door lock switches,they also work fine.

so when you hit the button in the door it unlocks the drivers door as well? If so that eliminates most of what I would have thought it could be.

Is the aveo a two signal remote? push once for driver door, push twice for the rest? if so it might be a problem with the remote.
