I'm not going to start a "2012" sales thread...

I figured they would just drop the Aveo stats from their sales figures once 2012 started, but apparently not.

GM sold 50% fewer Aveos in the US in January 2012 than the previous month! 12 vs. 24!

How many more months will it last???

Reminds me of a brain teaser: You are in a room that is 20 feet wide, and you are standing at one side of the room. Once every minute you move 50% of the way from your current position toward the opposite wall. (So the first move takes you 10 feet; the second move takes you 5...) How many minutes will it take to reach the opposite wall?

Also: I wonder if GM is going to give someone a prize for buying the last "new" Aveo in the US.

Or, maybe it's time to go out and buy the last 6 remaining new Aveos. Surely they'll be valuable collector cars in 30 years. Barrett Jackson, here I come!

I've seen a few new Sonics at my local dealership but at my house the Aveos outnumber the Cruzes 2 to 1!
