My mom's new car gets great MPG

Two week ago on September 17, 2011 My parents went to Hattiesburg in The Pontiac G6 that got poor gas mileage That my car and The Impala put to shame. They wound up buying a brand new 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan. I was surprised they bought it and I went in it for a test drive and I loved the car the seating was far better than the Aveo's My mom has to put two pillows on the driver seat when she drives my car. It gets 37 MPG on a paper route Now the Aveo doesn't even come close It only gets between 20 and 28 MPG on the route. Now my dad is saying Lets trade it off on another Versa Which I am slowly realizing the Car has 120,890 miles on the Odometer and We just put a new HUB Assembly on the car And it is getting to where it is just being a pain to have.

You should try to talk them into getting you a Sonic.

a new car is almost always better than a used car for a general person.

with the new lower base price the versa will be hard to beat,
other than the fact it looks like someone beat it in the face (its ugly imho)

2011 Nissan Versa Arrives at Dealers with $10,740 Base Price - WOT on Motor Trend

if it was that cheap when i was looking it would have been tough to decide.

We have sworn off All Government Motors cars because They don't stand behind their products and don't care about the customers. It is a well known fact that GM cars have the worst Depreciation rate of all automakers.

You already made a mistake, you should have bought a fit.

I don't think he makes a mistake, that car is a good choice, though it is about to have a model change. The city mileage is far better than Aveo, what a shame. If you are going to compare the highway mileage and you will be surprise that versa 1.8 has exactly the same mileage as Aveo, so humiliating. If you are going to change, won't you wait a little while more for the new model ? it looks good.

I have to correct you the 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan doesn't have the 1.8 it only comes available with the 1.6 the new Redesigned 2013 Nissan Versa Hatchback will have the same engine as the Juke. I still haven't made up my mind On what car to get. I am considering the Aveo Classic, Honda Insight, Toyota Prius C, Hyundai Accent, Suzuki Kizashi And The Chrysler 200.

The Fit might be good but the price is something that needs to come down because all of its competetors are beating it.

I am just joking, but yeah the fit is expensive compared to the other cars in the segment.
