Gas....why i bought the aveo..

Gas prices goin up..wow..talk about takin it in the pooper!! about a month ago when i got my car, my neighbors we're like.."dood, that car is TOTALLY not you..you need a truck or something with a pipe bumper and 40" mudders!!" i told em yah well, when gas hits 5 bucks a gallon in may, you'll all be tradin in your trucks n buyin a car like this one..well...just today, one of those so neighbors came over n asked me details about my car and what he could expect to pay for one...lol Considering how far i drive each day, and what it costs to drive the aveo VS my truck, The aveo is actualy paying for itself AND the insurance payment..so all in all, im driving, paying for, and keeping full coverage insurance on it alll for free. haha...pshh...jokes on them! lol

i have not bought gas in over a month, I think i bought it at 2.70 a gallon or so lmao, what is it up to now?

Ditto here rabbit, although, your only 45 mins away so no surprise. As for the price of aveos, YAH NO CRAP! i apparently got mine for a hell of a price..i paid 6k for it, its a 2006 5 speed with AC. Its in awesome shape with a clean title. few little dings n stuff that i noticed but otherwise, pretty clean! had 48k on it, almost 50 now..(timing belt coming real soon too btw..) and from what i can see, ya cant touch an aveo in this shape for that price anywhere now...Good thing i made the move when i did! lol

Sad thing is, its gettin really hogged up driving to the mines everyday. lol just so ****ing hard to keep it clean in a SUPER SUPER dirty environment! oh well, it'll be paid off in a few months n then ill worry about it later. haha

Assuming the conversion is remotely correct gas is $4.5 per gallon here

You guys are getting it for a steal then.

I remember last time the gas was close to 5$ I had the urge to look at trucks and I found this hummer H1 with all the bells and whistles for like 15XXX and it had low miles. I soooooooooo wanted to buy it and to top it off it was diesel......goes to show the whole demand and price theory.

if you want to buy a large truck or hummer, buy it in a few weeks!

I could care less. I paid $3.45 a gallon yesterday, and it only took a little over $30 to fill up. It'll last me 2 weeks, but I still can't wait to get me a Vespa Scooter. The city mileage in the Aveo sucks, and my goal is to go to the gas station once a month.
Take that Marathon Gas!
