i understand the relationships, better breathing means more fuel because the air fuel ratio needs to stay the same.

I don't use hp so I put regular filter back in. I got 46.7 driving home today over 72.3 mi and only 40.9 driving in this morning. Pretty happy thus far with the Veo!!

'09 with 3400 miles and 5speed transmission. Getting 34 mpg. Little disappointed in the mpg's. Had an '05 Civic with auto that got 38 and '96 Corolla with 5sp that routinely got 39-40. Hope it gets better with some more break in time, but expected much better, especially comparing to previous cars I've owned. I commute 36 miles one way to work, so I'm on the highway.
