Proud Owner of a 2006 Aveo!

Hello everyone! I've already posted on the troubleshooting and maintenence forum, but I thought I would do a proper introduction here.

My girlfriend and I are both students and had decided to have a car for commuting and maybe for some weekend trips out of town during the summer months. Since we have a dog, we were preferably looking for a hatchback and had actually found an 06 Swift+ that we thought would be perfect for us. Unfortunately/fortunately, the deal with greasy dealership that we were to purchase it from had fallen through. A couple of days later however, we ended up finding a private owner selling their White 2006 Aveo5 LT! It had less KM, more features and was in better shape than the Swift so we jumped all over it and the rest is history!

We've only had it for about two weeks and 900KM but so far we are enjoying it a great deal. Just one little hiccup with a CEL, but I had remedied that (so far so good) by just using better gasoline; though I may need a new gascap for the long term.

I'm pleased as punch that there is such an active community for this car! I check out the forum at least once a day to just see what's going on. I'm sure I'll see you guys around!
