New to forum engine overheated

Hi! New to forum but have appreciated all the info found in it for Aveo. Daughter has 2009 Aveo5 LT, she loves the car has approx 100k now, timing belt, water pump were done. Its went through wheel bearings, alternator and minor. Recently coolant line burst yep overheated. Def some damage as CO2 in coolant. Question to those of you with so much exp with Aveos-- is it worth swapping out engines? How does the car hold up over 100k with proper care..transmisison etc? Thanks in advance for any opinions! Bonz
