      New to Aveo

Bought a 2004 Aveo manual transmission for my daughter a few months back. Since then I've screwed up the timing and I'm currently putting a new engine in it. It's supposed to be a 06-09 engine but it has the throttle cable on it. The engine is in but it won't start. It just cranks. The coil pack gets hot to the touch. The thermometer gun reads 170 degrees. Come to find out the connector is pushing out 12v through one wire and 11v through another while the third one is the ground. So I'm looking at replacing the ecm and hopefully get it back on the road.

Thank you Daox. Did you have any of these issues when you did your engine swap?
