hi, bear with me as I just found this ....having trouble with my 2009 aveo , most likely the camshaft sensor, is this the right place to ask about it?

Hi, I'm new here, and just wanted to reply to my own, stating I went to auto zone for the check engine check....all codes came back leading to the camshaft position sensor....my question is how reliable is this? and is this a big fix? everything I've looked up tells me it's not but I have some mechanics trying to say it could be a 5hour job ...etc etc..I don't want to get ripped off and I'd like to a little knowledgeable on this when I drop it off....If I can get it started. thanks

If it's the sensors I think it's easy to do. One at top off engine on left and one at bottom engine on left. One bolt holding them in . Remove and replace
