      Here For The Into =)

Just received my 2009 Chevy Aveo5 LT the 15th! I've had a lot of stupid questions since then and this site has helped me out a lot so I thought I might as well join up. My Aveo has a little under 26K miles and it is my first manual transmission vehicle and I like it so far Planning on keeping it for awhile and doing some mods, so I'll be happy to stick around and share with ya'll. I'll throw some pictures at ya, not much, but I'll be working on it gradually.

Looks nice! Not so sure about those wheel covers, a bit too shiny for my taste!

I do enjoy the overall appearance of your car though! Look forward to seeing what you come up with ^^

Looks good. Needs a custom touch. As for manual trans...... I have it too and it blows. I have 33k on it and since I first bought it brand new I get gears grinding going into second. Clutch pedal will be to the floor and it still grinds. Gm won't do anything. They say it's cuz the parts have to come from Korea.

Yeah, I'll keep you updated on how that works out. I threw a "3 year bumper to bumper" on the Aveo when I purchased it, so hopefully that will be taken care of if it ever comes about. Other than that, no complaints =)

And for the rims... I feel the same way! Haha! Any suggestions on what size to throw on the hatch to balance out the gaps?

Personally I'm pretty conservative. I'd do some clean five spoke 15" alloys, black or even gunmetal.

That's what I was thinking, I just need to lay out a sheet of paper and sorta make a list of all I want to do. I want everything to be nice but subtle at the same time. Idk.

I would get on tirerack.com and get some 15 x 6.5 rims with 185/55R15 sized tires. That's what I did and you can have them shipped somewhere like a Sears or another of their partnering auto shops near you and they will put em on for you and everything for a bit of money. If ya check out my garage on here you can see what those wheels and tire sizes might look like on your aveo.
