Nice! Back to report on the pulley! Thought this info could be helpful to anybody considering getting one! I already had a CAI and exhaust, and the 0-60 times I have been taking for the last week are REALLY close to a half second faster, on average! I think this is pretty good, and the power IS noticable, especially better going up hills (mountains, here in CO ; ) Thanks! Good stuff.

I'm not too familiar with the Lanos. If it uses the same engine as the Aveo, yes.

Unfortunately, I can't do that. I have no idea how much power your sound system is pulling. All I can say is there will be a reduction in maximum alternator output at lower rpms. If you are having no signs of stressing the existing alternator now you may have no problems with the new pulley. However, if you are noticing power issues now the pulley will make it worse.

Best way to find out if your stressing your alternator now, is to go out at night, turn on all the lights, set to bright, fans wipers, everything you can, then get a song going with a lot of bass to make your amp pull as much as possible, and turn it up as loud as you expect it to go or louder. With all that done, look for dimming, of any of the lights, when the bass hits, if you have it then the pulley will probably give issues, if not then it's worth a shot.

I know this sounds a little crazy but it's effective. I have fried two alternators from pulling to much power and they always seem to go at night. Not fun.

Just the thought of turning "off" all that stuff afterwards to see if the alternator is stressing stresses me out!
