This is a small but nice detail I wanted to do, and then finally did!
I bought a 2 metre roll of vinyl originally meant for drapery. Was around $40 for that and upholstery glue!
I'm happy with the result, but wish I would've used a brush for a smoother feel (the glue clumps so easily!)

How hard was it?
On a scale of one to ten, it was a three! Again though, I regret not having used either spray glue or a paint brush. Cutting it to fit was a challenge, but I just cut large and trimmed as needed :D
Looks great! Did you take the door panel off or just intalled it with everything in tact?
I took it apart to see if the inserts were removable, which would make things easier, but alas the entire inner door is one giant sheet of plastic! So I did it with everything intact.Quote:

Thanks! The trick I found was to use something as a wedge (I used an old giftcard) to push the fabric in the sides. I still have one to do, if it's needed I could do a little DIY post with some pictures, so others with '05s can rock their inserts too!
I just picked up some black vinyl, what kind've brush are you talking about to get the clumps out?
With how thick the glue was, a large, flat paintbrush would work. Something you'd use for the edges of a room. Be sure to use masking tape to prevent it getting on the other plastic, though!Quote:
