      Towing with an Aveo

Yes, they can tow, though they aren't tow rated.

I bought a super light weight all aluminum trailer to haul bikes on:

I towed this bike from Albuquerque, NM to WA State - total of 1500 miles:

That's awesome! Did you have anything else loaded in the back or is it just the weight of the bike lowering the rear suspension that much?

that's nothing, my uncle had an aveo hatchback with a hitch on it. he pulled a 15 ft 4 wheeler trailer with a zero-turn lawn mower on it. i didn't believe it till i saw it but it did pretty well.

Interesting. Do either of you guys have pictures of how the hitch is mounted toe the car? This is how mine was done when I bought it. I can't say I'd be willing to tow much at all with things like this:

      Daox,

looks like the salt off the roads got to your suspension and the home made hitch... even the bumper cover bolts. I guess that's one positive thing about having no snow... other than that I would take snow over rain any day..

Impressive. But I will leave the towing duties to my Jeep or get something larger.

What other type of toys do you have?

Eh, the rust isn't too bad on it, mostly surface rust. That is pretty normal for around here.

Are you planning on keeping the home made hitch on or replacing/removing it?
