I only got one rock chip within a few weeks of getting it before I clearcoated it, but I sanded it and put two coats of clear on the visible part... looks nice and I'm hoping it will hold up. I only owned it for a couple of months and it works perfect so far, but its too early to tell. I will let you know if anything happens to it. It is succeptable to very light deforming after sitting in direct sunlight (very minor warping that goes back to normal when it cools). I only found out that it happens after parking my car at a store in direct sunlight... the hood warped lightly releasing tension on the hood pin, so the alarm went off. Scared me a little, thought someone tried to pop the hood. Quick adjustment of hood pin clearance fixed the problem.

Very nice car. Its tastefully modified without getting gaudy. A lot of guys don't know when to stop.

I called them, so they quoted me 750 shipped to WA, which wasn't that bad, but then I went on their local craigslist site (LA), and they said in there that they're selling their warehouse and are selling everything they have for pretty much what it cost them... So I drove down there (even though I would have them ship it if I was to re-do it again), liked what I saw and bought it all for quite a bit cheaper than what they quoted me... more exactly, I got the full kit, L3 fenders, and OEM style double-sided CF hood for a few hundred bucks cheaper than what they quoted me for just the kit alone (after some bargaining in person with cash)...

I was trying to keep it simple... I wanted a daily driver that looks good and is fun to drive...

As far as future plans - I would like to get all four of UltraRacing bars (two-point for front and rear top... two point for rear lower bar.. and 4 point for lower front)... And I would like to get the cat-delete headers... but everything is kind of halted right now... awaiting a new job.

XJCasper, it still IS going on... I just checked out their craigslist... here's the link. Give them a call and ask them if they still have any aveo kits left and that you've seen their ad for $99 bucks for the full kit... maybe you'll get even better deal than me... anyways, here's the link:
