Looks good gotta love a slammed vw. Im taking a different route and running 280z fender flares. This way i can use wider tires less stretch and not alot of fab work. Just cut fenders seal the metal and bolt them on.

Yes Kyb Front and rear and some H&R springs i love it. It s not to low to where i fear for my oil pan but its still pretty stout in the corners.

I understand, that is where I came from, kyb front rear, and intrax springs. I just could not resist going lower, but its odd that you had all those problems when you were lower. I haven't really bottomed out, just the occasional tall speed bump! The roads I drive are usually traveled by logging trucks, and I drive close to 1000 miles a week as mine is my work car ..... Then again, I do not have to deal with cobbles here.

Ya i think thats what killed it for me. Where im living its alot of old old towns that dont have paved roads till you leave town. I love the way it looked but i love the way it rides now and my wife is happier because she drives it also and she didnt want tomess up my prodject car.

on a side note, are those actually type a's or a different borbet? the spokes don't seem as fat as I remember the A's being. Huh.... maybe I'm just crazy lol

I know for sure that they are borbets the size and offset are the same and they are the only 5 spokes that they made that look like this. I also know that they are old as hell but they use type a center caps ???? what ever i love them they are perfect for what i need and they are crazy light. When i get back to wisconsin next year im getting them powdercoated though and some nwe tires for sure. the ones that are on the wheels now are german and discontinued but really quiet. I need to roll the rear fenders this week due to rubbage. But thats for the kind words ill be painting my brake cals and drums green to match my emblems come saturday.
