here's the latest pic of my aveo

Does your stripe run all the way over the car?
Is it painted on?
I also had a stripe add to my car, adds a little more sport to the car,

it does the whole car except the bumpers since i'll be going with a body kit in the near future, so the body kit will have the stripe too
the stripe is just a stick on
the reason for adding it was because of the wing that i put on and didn't work out
i needed a quick "fix" for the car show the next day
my wing broke in the middle
now i need to get my fingers out of my nose and post the wing pics

how did your wing break?

i took the wing from a 2000 dodge grand caravan and it was too long so i cut it up in the middle
i had to remove about 6 inches
then i joined it back together with fiberglass and all
painted it
it took me about a week to get the wing ready because i was doing it in my spare time and every time i was putting on a new coat of fiberglass i had to let it dry

now the shape of the trunk lid on the grand caravan and on the aveo are not quite the same
so the wing was sticking out over the side edges of the trunk
as soon as i close the trunk when i was done the body of the car put pressure on the ends of the wing and split it right away where i had cut it

so i took that off
and now this week i fixed the holes in my trunk and repainted it and painted the new spoiler that i got
i have a little bit more buffing to do and will be able to put it on this week

i will be able to unveil it soon
