Did a little shopping over the weekend

So they dropped a fresh 05 sedan in my local yard, so I picked what I needed off it. Sure hate to see a pristine aveo go to the crusher. This thing was way too nice to land here..

It donated many needed items I needed for both of ours. Now my LS has a rear view mirror finally, some new head rests for the back seat, some trim pieces, a new hood (that I need to paint still) and stuff I have probably forgotten.

Here are a few pics from the trip.

Since finding this gem in the bone yard I have reposted my WANTED ad on craigslist trolling to find the next Aveo that snaps a timing belt to buy for cash on the spot. This could have easily been a fixer car for the right price, but it wound up being pimped out for parts in the end. The yard wanted way to much to drag it out of there.

Thats how I got my aveo. Except it had a bit more than bent valves, it also had a hole in the block... Change your timing belt people!
