here in Portugal , there only the 1.2 whith 84bhp and the 1.4 whith 101bhp, But the 1.4 because is a older engine, is almost like the 1.2 in acceleration, and the 1.2 is more economical
so the 1.4 is not worth buying.
Can i put the cruse control in my Aveo?
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
so a car with 200 hp in portugal would be like driving a dragster
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
Pretty much, i should borrow my brother's mazdaspeed 3 and go over there lol

Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
raddit did you put that brace on the CAI by yourself or did it come with it, i still have to get one for my short ram
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
its the cheap piece that came with mine. under the maf it is folded to a 90 degree angle and slipped into the hose clamp..
i am going to make a better one sometime.
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
lol yeah, i cut off one of the rubber sleves off one of the hoses and taped it on the ac pipe thing or whatever that siver thing is as the intake was messing it up, but i havent had no probems with it

Might need a better one sooner than you think. There's no provision for engine movement the way it's currently setup. The air pipe should be secured to the engine, not the chassis. At least, not that close (short distance) from the throttle.
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
lol true, the engine moves a lot, i dont know where you would srcure it on the engine though, ill have to look later
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
you could make a bracket that uses the top thread of the engine side of the engine mount. then it will move with then engine.
but as it is now, the metal piece is cheap and flimsy, allowing the intake to move a little bit. and with leaing the play in the silicone. I reved the engine up and down and got it moving, and the intake doesn't move as much as i thought..
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
but the factory intake is bolted to the chassis
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
but the stock intake got the flexable hose tube thing right?
Re: Chevrolet Aveo from portugal
yeah but his new intake has silicone coupling which acts as a flex coupling as well
