Work related business has me landed in Florida at the moment.
Ah! And then there's Pheonix in your username. You get around.
Username = real name... that's rare!

My sister caught this in her commute to the local ice rink for my niece’s youth hockey game; you can definitely tell that this sedan was from Florida.

I just got back from Mexico (helping out at an orphanage, awesome time). They seem to love the Aveo there. There were tons when we went into town one day. I got a couple pics to share:

^ I just discovered today: you can still buy a last generation brand new Aveo in Mexico.
Rustiest Aveo I've ever seen...

Thread: The rustiest Aveo I've ever seen
That's just sad. :/
The last 2 Aveos that used to live on my street have disappeared in the past year.
One was a Swift+ that got traded in.
The other was an Aveo owned by a little old lady who's moved away. (I'm assuming she moved... hoping for the best!)
Our cars are getting old, and even I've been looking at getting something else to drive.
I've been seriously looking at the Bolt, and want one. :)
Mine is 13 years old now, and starting to show age cosmetically and some other minor quirks.
Sadly, we're going to see this more and more as time passes now.

Same here; I got to drive my sisters 2013 Ford Escape while Scootaloo was down for her timing belt change, and it showed me that pretty much everyone in my immediate family has an infinitely nicer vehicle than I do; and makes me feel poor. (Both cars that I have ever owned have a ton of things in common: they both started life as rental cars, they were both white with dark cloth interiors, and they both were equipped the same way; no power options except for the automatic transmission) I’ve actually been looking at Buicks and Chryslers in my spare time.

Spotted this 2008 sedan with well over 195,000 miles at work getting an oil change; the poor steering wheel covering was separating from the wire frame to where it felt floppy. Makes scootaloo’s steering wheel feel downright good.

This 2010 5speed (it was actually built 3 months after Scoot Scoot was built and already delivered to Enterprise) with a little over 105,000 miles was getting 2 front tires yesterday at work; and holy crap the clutch was easy like a Honda’s! The poor instrument cluster was lit up like a Christmas tree with the TPMS telltale on, the oil maintenance light on, and the check engine light on too.

Another one from my adventures in the Walmart Auto Care Center; a 2007 5 speed hatch with over 160,000 miles on it! Looked a little worse for wear, but it’s still trucking along!

One of my hobbies is car auto detailing so I follow a few YouTube channels and one of them has a customers car that is an Aveo here is a link of interested https://youtu.be/y8UI8EjW4cw
you can see my 2006 silver Chevy Aveo Brick next to this black Chevy Aveo 5 it looks like an Aveo in the transition years when Chevy was going to give the Aveo a facelift it’s nice to see an Aveo out in public when running errands
EDIT: I also have no idea why the photo I took with my phone uploaded upside down

I saw this on a Facebook post and was glad to see a cool paint job on an aveo

Spotted this 2011 Hatchback in the parking lot at work this afternoon; I think the owner is actually an employee so I might be able to sow the seeds of domestication and get them on here!

Attachment 12117 I couldn’t be happier that it was on an Aveo I saw this on a Facebook post I’m so happy I hope the person that owns this Aveo is in this group lol
On today’s episode of “Walmart Auto Care Center Shenanigans” this 2011 5 speed with 135k on it came in for an oil change (They unfortunately don’t care that much for it, and got our Pit Crew service which uses Quaker State oil! I wouldn’t even use Quaker State for my 25 year old lawn tractor much less in the ScootaDrive!)

Another day, another Aveo getting critical maintenance done! This 2009 has 135k on it, and was another victim of a Pit Crew oil change! It also had a MAHOOSIVE blowout on the driver rear tire! Miraculously, the TPMS sensor managed to actually survive the blowout, and we sent them on their merry way with a shiny new Douglas All Season!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2db4e0362c.jpg

Today on “Walmart Automotive Shenanigans” this 2008 Hatchback with 237k on the clock got a pair of new rear tires! the airbags had some interesting artwork on them that I wasn’t able to take a picture of but looked neat!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ed7eebbbdf.jpg

I realized today that there are no longer any Aveos on my parents' street!
There used to be two: one little old lady (died or moved away). And another one (Swift+ actually) was at a 2-car household with a Subaru Outback, and they downsized to 1 car only.
My step nephew still has his though! A beat up '08 sedan that he uses as his winter car to keep the salt off his BRZ.
Got another one today at Walmart, this ‘09 Sport Red Hatchback has 152k on the clock and got a pair of the only 185/60/14s we stock!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b303197080.jpg

Well, this 09 Hatchback came back for the other two tires; and has 3,000 more miles on it!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1f09a8fad4.jpg
And let’s just say that the driver front tire failed in a spectacular way, and the driver rear tire wasn’t much better!

Today on Walmart ACC shenanigans, this 2004 with 164,000 miles on the clock and a 5 speed is getting a fresh set of Hankook Kinergy tires on it!

Not many Aveos her left in Atlanta driving around , they all are in scrap yards OR in a repair status trying to keep up with 80-90 mph to ZERO and back again teaffic OR waiting for suspension Parts from hitting POT HOLES on mainly the interstate or in the city streets.
NOT very rugged cars. Take it easy on them and they will last.
I just bent my strut from hitting a pot hole on interstate. ( thought I was going to lose my car)
There a lot of them here in my town... T200, T250, 3-door, 5-door... mostly hatchbacks, sedans are more uncommon.
Nice neat and clean
