Nice pic...
Nice setup. How much weight do you pull? How's it pull? Stopping?
May as well reply here even though its been forever... so I have lots of experience towing, and it tows just great. Towed from 165lbs (my naked aluminum trailer), to 400+ lbs (the trailer in the pic) to a whopping 1500lbs (trailer axle weight only, did not include tongue weight). No problems stopping whatsoever, even through BC mountain passes.
Car was fun towing because you could floor it essentially all the time. I could always be faster than traffic which is how I usually drive. 3rd gear is used a lot (5sp) when towing and it pulls all the way to 65mph and beyond when needed. I still tow with my 2nd Aveo here in 2024. Saves me money watching all the pick up trucks.

Northguest47 Good to know the AVEO can "tow it"! Would you provide info on brand of tow bar and what is involved in a normal installation for a light duty, small wheel utility trailer? Many thnx! "Saves me watching all the pickup trucks"...how sweet & true that is!

aww I missed this kcROB.. but it is Curt hitches that I use, they are 2000lb hidden hitches that bolt on, essentially, I chose the rarer 1 7/8th inch ball setup but 2" is what everyone uses, and ya the 1500lb trailer just trailed along while the car was essentially floored unless cruising.. still it averaged 20 usmpg verified over 5500 miles, not bad for a 1.6
