      Drag Racing

      ...so who has actually run their Aveo?

      Once we develop our turbo system(s) for this car, we want to hit 13's at least.... maybe after some further development of the chassis. Kinda moot point to do much with the chassis when it doesn't make any power to push it anywhere NEAR the limits...

      Limits? what limits?

      Umm question. How much power you expect from a turbo? 20-30hp? 50hp? I have no clue....

      You guys are planning on almost doubling the HP in the aveo? how are the clutch and transmission going to hold up? good?

      lol no way! you cant expect to turbo the aveo without having to do something about it holding power.

      that's what I thought! I could understand running stock with a 30% increase in power....but 75% lol

      we have a test and tune night 3-4 times a week out here at LACR http://www.lacr.net/index.html i plan on taking my 2004 out soon.

      my dad saw one down at atco raceway racing against a civic.... it did high 15's while the civic did low 13's ....it pretty much the laugh of the track

      My friend Sean use to take his Ford Festiva down to LACR and would run against anyone that had an open lane that was cool everyone would chear him on in that FORD no matter what he ran against like cars that where high 9's and stuff
