      Broken aux cord

A friend broke the tip of my aux cord and it is now stuck in the jack.Chevy said they could only get it out by taking out the radio which is $100 an hour. Are there any good tricks or tips to get it out?

Try using a dental instrument. Or a screw extractor (AKA an ez-out).

did the cable Plug break off to where there is little bit sticking out of the Aux port, or is it Flush or even Countersunk with the end of the Aux Port?

How far in is it? In other words, what is the measured distance from the opening to the end of where the piece is lodged?

that's what i was going to say, that's all chevy would've probably done, i have an 11 hatch, i switched my radio with an aftermarket one, i could see if there is another way, but what year is your aveo? radios might be different and i don't want to misinform you.
