6lbs is hardly worth voiding your warranty. Just my 2 cents. I'm done now, but really think about this before you do something you might regret. If you look in the Turbo threads here you'll see an Opel Corsa VXR turbo manifold and turbo will bolt right on to our cars. Still might need a MegaSquirt stand alone system, but like I said PrecisionBoost would know most the answers to your questions.

Trust me I have been going both ways about this. I don't think they will honor my warranty any more any way. To much stuff added to it.

take them to a body shop. tell them etch primer, flash time, paint, and then semigloss clear.
and then reassemble.
you want semigloss because the glass adds the sheen. if you did gloss and glass it would give a haloed reflection effect.
btw welcome to the boards.

Re: Headlight Painting w/Pics 56K Warning
I did Dupli Color Low Gloss Black Engine Enamel. I didn't use any primer, just did a lot of really light coats. No clear either. I noticed that unless you are right next to the car if you look at the lights they have the appearence of being "smoked". If you really wanted to match them to your car you could take them apart and go get a spray can of your cars color mixed at NAPA. Idk if they make a High Temp clear??? If so, I would spray over the color with that. I suppose if you did enough light coats of regular clear it would probably be ok. I dont think the headlights actually get very hot, especially if you have HIDs. Anyone care to correct me on this if I'm wrong? If they were matched to your car it would be similair to the stock headlights that come on the Honda Fit. DO NOT COMMENT JUSTIN OR CHRIS!!!
