I couldn't feel more at home...

So I am new to this forum/network and wanted to take a moment to say hello. So, without further ado, hello!

I bought my '09 Aveo5 2LT in July of this year after totaling my '97 Cavalier and killing the trans in my '04 Astro Van. I guess you could say I like Chevys. And you would be correct.

If memory serves me correctly, I bought the car with 48 miles on it. It now has a little over 4,000. Thankfully they're mostly highway miles.

As of yet, I do not have any pictures of my little darling, other than the photo I received in the mail from the Illinois Tollway. However, I have some neon lights coming in from StreetGlow tomorrow and once I get those puppies installed, I will certainly take some pics and share them with all of you.

Looking forward to reading other posts on here from other Aveo lovers such as myself!

Actually, I do have pics. Here's a few:

And to everyone else, thanks for welcoming me into the network...or club...or whatever you want to call it. I'll call it a worldwide ice cream social...without the ice cream.

They were hard to look at for a while, but unfortunately that was the reality of it. Thankfully I walked away with only minor scratches on my left arm. The worst part was that it happened on my way to work at 8:30am on Mother's Day. "Hey mom, happy mother's day...I totaled my car. Can you pick me up?"
