Has anyone else done the DIY cruise?. I priced out the cruise control switch from all our local GM dealers and it comes out to a grand total of $38.00!! CDN.
I plan on doing this with in the next two weeks I will let you know how it turns out, any feedback on your cruise control installs would be great. :D

Do you remember which one goes where?.
I see it doesn't matter at the switch where the wires go...

OK....
So you don't know which wire goes where?....
Will the car idle poorly or is it when the engine is under load?, if its the idle will it idle poorly as soon as I hook up the wires?
Thanks.

So I have it (The switch), I hooked it up quickly useing aligator clips, didn't drive anywhere I just wanted to see if the little green cruise control light would come on, no light...
Should it come on? or maybe I need to take it for a spin?.
I'll get the connectors needed tomorrow to hook it up properly.
I guess I'll have to get crafty makeing a mount for the switch too. :)

Well the cruise works, I'm very happy. If I put a bulb in there will it light up then?.
And thank you for the help, greatly appreciated. :D
