Intersting Aveo Wind Howl 2008 cure

It seems from what I have seen online that several Aveo owners like me have had a wind howl seemingly from the upper corners of the windshield. In South Dakota we have wind and for awhile I was getting that howl every day I drove to work. It was horrible. I tried the weatherstrip fix the dealer gave me and it didn't help. I also added some more weather-stripping by advice of a forum and that didn't help.

Then in an separate effort to save the paint on my car...(cause I have to do 2 miles of gravel each day) I installed custom splash-guards behind the tires. The noise is gone.

the noise had something to do with the front of the cars front bumper i was told. so put a huge metal rally defuser underneath the car

He said it's gone now that he's got the splash guards installed...

He said it's gone now that he's got the splash guards installed...

but im saying on most other cases, chevy redesigned the front end slightly because thats where they felt the noise came from.

oh I see. I don't look at all the threads on the board because mostly I'm on here with my phone or ipod. I didn't even know she was a part of our slow growing female populous.
