Aviation mechanic with the Navy, unemployed at the moment since the end of contract. Thinking about switching professions to something different.
Also lots of time as you can see from frequent posts. Lots of time to work on the car.

I work as a GS civilian at Tinker Air Force Base. Work as an action officer for the command section of the Air Logistics Center. High stress, but it's also highly visibile and very rewarding. Makes it all worth it at the end of the day.

I'm also an Air Force Reservist. I'm a Vehicle Operator (scored high enough on the ASVAB that I was told that I could essentially have any job that I wanted, so what do I pick? The shortest tech school with the most benefits, lol). Although I have no complaints; if I wouldn't have deployed, I wouldn't have the civilian job that I have today (hired off of a Veteran's Preference). Everything happens for a reason!

Work at a Casino and over the last year I have returned to school as a full time student.

When do i get on? About your lunch time, or in the early morning.

What do people think of my car? First question is they try to figure out what it is (debadged).
Next they want to know what I am doing with such a small car, considering I am over 6 ft and 300 lbs.

I work for a help desk that supports the post office computer systems. People I work with don't see my car as I walk to work. Most people that do ask anything generally assume that it handles good and gets good mileage. My response is usually "yeah it's ok" or "actually it doesn't handle that great".

Since getting decent tires and a scan gauge, handling and mileage has improved though.

Going to pick up my UltraRacing rear strut bar at the post office today actually. Been a long wait, anxious to see how it turns out.

I’m ex-armored core and now work as the Quality Assurance Manager here at H&O Cylindrical Precision. We make a large verity of parts for many different companies, but a good 50% are military contracts.

Boo - you started it, you have to share! :D

I do web site development, self employed. On the computer all day anyway, so I'm on and off here at all hours.
