Yes, IMO definitely needless worrying. Worst case would be just one inconvenient day if it ever quits on you. And who's to say that one of those aftermarket pumps is even going to outlast the OEM...
I'd recommend finding a good indy shop for all of your work. Stealerships charge a minimum of 20% over other shops, and very often more. A good indy shop can do just about everything Chevy can do,...
