Put two cans of NOS energy drink into the engine oil....... :-k
LOL... good point. But it's often not the first... or the second.... ;) Especially in elusive problems like that...
It's usually the very last thing that you replace that fixes the problem... :P That's what happened in most cases when we were fixing a problem with the jet...
Have you checked if the car is still under power train warranty by some chance?
The O2/Vacuum sensor socket (the long one with a slit in the side for the wire) is an irreplaceable tool in a job like that. I never thought they existed, but when I needed to take it off, my dad...
are you planning on relocating the battery to the trunk for a "more 50/50 weight distribution" ;)
LOL... I don't think Daox would reuse the same oil filter anyways. I don't think I would. You don't know how long it's been on there...
I love haters. :D. That's what happens when you get out of the service and go from absolutely busy to absolutely bored. You start modifying an Aveo :!: and start posting about it. Thanks for all...
Yeah I figured. By the way, XJ, I think I got you beat on post count. 8)
Ok. Thanks. 8). I wouldn't post because I thought bumping old thread was a bad thing.
So about the difference between ecotec and etec... :D just kidding... 8)
Back to the topic. What brand belt are planning on using? I've seen some discussions about it in a very old thread but...
So I take it you decided on rebuild over swap?
LOL... and the thing is - if there will be 20 friends helping - there probably will be 25 different opinions... all very different from each other... :D
So then the "snapped timing belt - being repaired" is not quite correct then? :) Or was it ultimately the reason for the engine failure?
