I've only used the 4-wheels on the ground, attached to the vehicle frame type of rig. It worked best with the steering unlocked and the front wheels steered around corners (going forward :D )

The front wheels steer/follow the lead vehicle as you go around a corner - the "caster" built into the front geometry allows this. Like pulling a shopping cart.
Provided you have the ignition key...
I have used one, but not connected to an Aveo.
Not 100% sure where the attachment points are on this car.
