might just have to jump him to the ecu wires?
this one, it appears there are 6 wires on the left side of the picture, but 8 slots in the connector. I see one different color on the other side of the connection (maybe). are there two wire...
yellow case wire harness is always airbag related.
is that plug where the black wire goes? i see a brown and silver wire on the other side of it, are those eliminated inside that connection?
in picture # 3 you have a black, yellow and green wire in a plug at the very top, i'm fairly sure this is the clock spring connection.
You need to trace that black wire back to the next plug...
C99 airbags would still need two wires running to the bag in the steering wheel.
The single black wire could be going to the ignition tumbler for the lock, and he is looking at the wrong harness....
from you posts i feel like you have a different harness, does your car have airbags?
pictures of the column with the clam shell off?
Are you one the column side of the plug? if so, check the other side?
you need to patch into (i think) the brown and silver wires on the column harness that goes to the clock spring.
My understanding is that all drive by wire aveos are accepting the cruise switch.
this is covered in all the threads, this is just the first ecotec as a starting point thread
(typically the cruise threads do not mention ecotec cars until 6-7 pages in)
the addition does work...
you picked almost the exact spot i was going to mount mine..
