Parts were found, they fell out of the box in the fedex truck. Thank you fedex for locating them. I got the top two bars on, and need to find some help with tools I don't have for the rest. I can rent the spring compressors for about 50 bucks witch is not bad at all. Pics will be on my build thread.

you can buy spring compressors for less that 50 bucks..

and you can just use an old seat belt or other harness to tie them.
i for one hardly use them, just leave room for them to "pop" safely.

If you put the car up on jack stands and then loosen off the rear shocks while keeping a jack under the wheel axel. You can remove the spring by slowly lowering the axel after removing the bolts.

The parts store I use lets you rent them for the cost of buying, then you get the money back when you return them. I don't see my self using them often enough to justify buying a set. I hate working on suspensions.

Forgive me digging up this thread, can anyone confirm the UltraRacing rear sway fits an 09 Aveo5?

a few guys run them, its the same rear axle as the earlier cars.
