      Its in the door jam. When you open your driver's door you'll see it right there. Bypassing this switch should turn off your beeper, but it'll also stop your dome light from activating automatically.

      Thanks. Never have dome lights on auto anyway. Strangely never had them on any cars on auto.Think I must of run batteries flat sometime in my youth.....

      Wonder what the star shaped black plastic plug is on the edge of the door is ?

      I just took some photos around and above the brake pedal but cannot see the little brown box mentioned on a YT video. They say just pull off the white power plug. Find it strange that a box with biggish power connector can just be for a buzzer?
