Spec D Halo Headlight Install

I'm at my witts end with these things. Spec D doesn't really offer (which I know would be hard) a specific install for Aveos. I've called the company and the same guy keeps saying "it's easy" after I try to explain something. They also give you this Instruction list (3 Steps) that is almost impossible to read.

My question is, has anyone installed these suckers? First gen aveo here

I had the same problem with their tail lights. they ended up mailing me another tail light but the housing insert tabs were all backwards, and my bulb housing sticks out so I can't get the tail light flush with the body.
