      How to install a spoiler

      Its pretty simple...

if you have a hatch back there is all ready spots for you to drill.

you have to measure the centre spot as they did not mark that.

      The pictures say it all

      measure once cut twice....

i did not drill the centre hole right the first time but thats what silicone is good for!

      some double sided 3m tape

pump those holes with some silicone

      end product

I wish I could find a spoiler that wasn't so over-priced. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it?

75 bucks canadian at the auto wreckers.

its luck of the draw what color you get and i know i would never find one in my color so i had to get it re painted for 180

so it was 255 dollars after the smoke cleared.

I know that this spoiler is not the pontiac wave style one but i dont care.

      this spoiler was orginally silver.

Just checked this thread and they both look outstanding. Good work guys. Thanks for the thread. I was looking to do the same thing for our sedan and will keep this in mind.

hmm... weird. The third hole in the middle? I ordered an OEM style aftermarket lip spoiler for an 09-10 Aveo (even though mine is an 06), and it came with two bolts on the sides (a little bit off those spots where you've drilled) and a few long strips of double-sided molding tape. Works for me.
