Hello from Thailand 2007 sedan backup light switch

Hi everybody. I'm an American living in Thailand and I just bought a 2007 aveo sedan with 5 speed manual. It's really clean with only 95,000 km and right hand drive. I love this little car.

Anyways, the backup lights are not working and I'm guessing that the backup light switch is the culprit. Do I pull off the left front wheel to get to the switch like in the chevy cobalt YouTube video or is it different?

Im super stoked about this forum and this car. My chevy is actually a legit ride here in se Asia... Lol

its very different than the cobalt.

i think you can get to it from up top.. not 100% sure. iirc, its just infront of where the shift linkage goes into the tranny.
