Grounding kit

Alright a couple of people have been asking how to install these. Sam sent me a message the other day asking me to tell him how I did it. So I decided to write a "How to" on it. Now I got the real kits cuz I'm lazy (like 400$) but you can easily make your own using 8 gauge wire for a fraction of that price.
This is what the Hyper Voltage System looks like (you can ground the car without the Voltage System but I took it because it hooks up to the Gounding Kit and the 2 together give maximum performance)

As you can see the Voltage System hooks up the battery terminals only

One of the wires goes from the Voltage System to the chassis

Another to the engine block (I used the little bolt to the right side of the exhaust mani)

The 3rd wire goes from the Voltage Kit to the alternator

I used the remaining wires to go from the alternator to the chassis again then from the chassis to the throttle body

If you don't have a Hyper Voltage System, you can start your 1st wire from the negative battery terminal or a good ground from the chassis.
Enjoy!
Denis says: great how-to, but did i understand it corectly?
negative to chassis
negative to engine block
negative to alternator
alternator to chassis
chassis to throttle boby
the last one seems kinda wierd, why do we need to ground the TB? and what gage are the your wires, and would 8 gage be ok?
thanks again for a great how-to
Nemasys responds: The wires dont all have to start from negative, they can simply follow each other, last one is because I had 1 spare wire so i used it there. You can basically ground it anyway you want there are many ground points. About the wire size, I've seen that twice now but it is clearly written in my 1st paragraph that you can use your own >>8 gauge<< wire for way cheaper then a real system. Have fun! :P

I don't have the Hyper Voltage block in mine, but I can say (when I had the stereo system) it made quite a HUGE difference. The speakers sounded better, the amp gave out cleaner power to them, the headlights were brighter, etc.
I talked to a friend at my local Chevy dealership and he said that the Daewoo bodies are built really great, but are not grounded as well as they should be. He reccomends a grounding kit whenever he sells an Aveo.

these are both great options, as well as affordable. Remember though, if you add a Voltage stabilizer (as shown in the How-to above) it will only improve the effectiveness of the grounding kit.

Re: Grounding kit
cool thanks but would it matter if the high voltage system gt is black rather then red? or does it matter and i found copper ground wiring, would that would better?

Re: Grounding kit
so, all this basically does is make all of my electronics run smoother and more efficiently?

I'll have to consider this then!

Re: Grounding kit
Digging up an old post...
OK, my grounding kit has been installed for probably just over a year...I am not running an amp, but I did upgrade my headlights to Sylvania Silverstars. I do have my phone charger pugged in 24-7 and my XM radio as well. I am considering a new stereo (Eclipse) and speakers (JL or Boston), no amps yet, but that is always a possibility...
I'm considering installing a HO alternator just for 'peace of mind' with winter coming I don't want to get stranded with a dead battery.
Is C3 the only place to get one?
