Any ideas for a glowing blue Chevy Bow-Tie on the steering

Anyone care to share some ideas on how to create a glowing blue Chevy Bow-Tie on the steering wheel center? Not too bright, but just enough to be cool. And using a method which does not interfere with the airbag deployment.

if you want to be absolutely sure it wont affect air bag deployment, you cant do it.

i would say your best bet would be trying some blue black light paint, and see if your blue lights you already have make it glow.

if you are thinking of running wires to it. you are going to need to run them through the clock spring. and i don't think there are any extra connectors in there. if you make something that has even a watch battery in it, just remember that if the air bag goes off that watch battery will become a 200 mph projectile.

glow in the dark paint?

Got the idea whilst watching I-Robot last night. There is a scene where his Audi is getting trashed by the robots and you can see the steering wheel with the Audi rings logo glowing blue. Really cool.
