      aftermarket foglights

      anyone wanna give some info on getting them to work with the switch on the steering wheel?
      or where to get that switch if mine came stock without fogs.?

      switch on the wheel? you mean adding the stock button on the end of the headlight stalk?

      when you buy that part, it is the entire stock that bolts to the column, if you get one with the for option it has provisions on the harness connection for the added wires. Then you either have the wires in the column, or you add them to the connector to get them to the lights.

      This turned out to be an expensive option for me, so i added a factory acceptable looking switch to the spot where the power mirror switches would have gone.

      thanks for the insight,
      it sounds like im looking for a suitable dash switch then.
      might as well put a separate one for the halo/leds too.

      I put the same style switch rabbit has in the coin tray on the front of the shifter housing. It serves as a light in my coin tray also.

      ah. clever placing.
      seems a lot more comfortable to reach there than where i have my switch.

      Yep but if you have a bright light on the switch your going to want to install the switch upside down, when i had mine with the light to the top it glared in the corner of my eye.
