      Will 17 inch rims fit

Will a set of 4x100 17 inch rims fit on an 05 aveo, or will there be steering problems?

Will fit, 18"s will work too, but they may rub just a tad if you are turning tightly, someone has 22"s on an aveo at one point

you just have to go with a lower profile tire so that the outside circumferance is not too much bigger than stock.also make sure the rims fit aveo b4 purchase.4x100 is correct but center bore needs to fit also 57.1.and the offset is possitive 38-45 fits good.185-60-14 is stock that is 22.74 inches tall so 205-40-17 is 23.46 probly the biggest you could go.or 215-35-17 is 22.93 inches tall closer to stock size.

the aveo has a 56.6 centebore.

harlie is spot on, but if you are that finicky about a tire size, a 165/40r17 or a 195/40r17 is out there..

Not sure, forgot to ask. But it doesn't really bother me.

I'd like to sand them down and paint them black. But it seems like a ton of work. Either color looks good on my Aveo. Though, the color sucks. Aqua...bleh.

I had no issues at all running 17x7 rims with 205/40 tires, and my aveo was lowered. this of course was before I sold the aveo for the new owner to total it in a wrck almost 3 months later
