Wheel Spacers

I was looking into the wheel spacers, to give my aveo a wider stance look.
but im wondering if it will pop them out to much.. the ones ive found on Ebay at 25mm, and my other question is if i did put them on .. why type of rim/tire sizing would look best??

y not just get a 40 mm offset to begin with? wheeel spacers are usually not a good idea especially if its alot and 25mm sounds like alot...it stresses the hub bolts

Been staring at the way the car sits. I now think that a mild spacer on just the rear wheels would look bad ass.

Wheel spacers may improve looks in some cases but my mom's boyfriend (former Goodyear Manager) tells me that they can be really dangerous with a stressed load, i.e. hard turning. Just get rims with the offest you want to begin with.

yea like exodus said the back needs to be kicked out a bit...so just get 42mm for the front and 40 for the back or 40 mm in the front and 38 in the back (but i dont know if there will be rubbing issues with the latter option if you ever decide to lower it...)

I wouldnt do spacers...it is really really bad for your camber and suspension

i will probley be doing spacers, as long as there quility materials it shouldent be much of a problem, i have friends that run them on there jap cars with no problems and some of them are runing around triple our HP to the wheels. so if they can handle it, then im sure they will be fine on the aveo. When i run them i will let you guys know.

I was looking at that online Lanos manual and it looks like the back wheels are indeed closer than the front by 2 inches (i.e. 1" each side)... although a lot of FWD (and even RWD) cars have a smaller rear track than front.
