Angry Left wheel issue when driving

Ok, I've had this issue since I've got the car but in the last month its gotten worse. Heres the story

Got the car Jan 2011 always have had 185-60-14 inch winter and summer tires! so Iv'e kept it OEM I just replaced my rotors and brake pads and bought 4 brand new tires. so rule all that out. when driving I hear a constant thumping noise my steering wheel doesn't shake and I have a nice front end alignment...the noise its always there, it gets really bad when I take left turns but gets quiet when I take right turns. its kinda quiet when I'm going straight but when I let off the gas pedal and slow down it gets really loud but goes away when I accelerate.

Iv'e been dealing with this for 1YR & 1/2. Its so loud now everyone inside my car hears it and it overpowers my music ha ha I need help guys! My mechanics don't know crap so I need my Aveo group!

BTW car has 80k on it I bought it at 50k. Thx!!

Is it a ticking noise, or more of the thumping that you described?

My noisy wheel bearing had zero play and was significantly louder at lower speeds. I tried a stethoscope while spinning the wheels by hand and used a dial indicator to check for play and couldn't find the problem. I actually had to put my car on jack stands, run it in gear, and block one wheel at a time to determine which side was bad.

I did not have a thump, but wheel bearing sounds can vary.

you don't know what any of those are, yet you think your mechanics don't know crap?

are you going to be checking this yourself or sending it to a mechanic with a list?

Hey man I know what they are but not 100% sure where some are and how to determine if there shot, I'm on this site for help not Criticism I wanna check myself first then go to mechanic
and the reason why my mechanic don't know much is because they have screwed up alot of our cars so I don't trust them.
