My 2010 Aveo Lt has 48362 miles on it (bought used last July with 42Kmiles) and the tires currently on it ride TERRIBLE. Don't know if they are original equipment but I would assume they are with about 1/3 tread left and only 48K miles. I have run 3 sets of Yokohama AVIDS on my 2002 Mazda 626 with 250K miles and get about 70K miles per set. Am looking to replace Aveo with Yokohama.

I have a set of toyo tr1 .. they don't burn easily infact when doing a burnout they dont smoke or even scream & they are veryveryvery good when it comes to handling TOYO TR1 for good performance!
I checked to see what is available, as I will be needing tires for the Aveo eventually. I have Kumho Solus KR21's on a different car I own and I'm happy with them. I thought it is the best choice from what is available. Kumho is not a bad brand - but the Kumho's that are the original factory installed tires on the Aveo are not very good.
OEM tires are usually cheap quality
If you dont need all seasons, falken 502s are awesome cheap tires.
Well if I don't go with all-terrains, then this summer I will be buying a new set of rims for the summer and use the old ones for snow tires.
