      Different suspension parts between years?

Ive got an 06 aveo and I plan on changing all the suspensions parts in the next few months but got a question about interchangeability between years. On my parts website the left and right control arms listed for a 2007 and cheaper then the 06 but I don't see any difference when looking at the pictures and I haven't had any luck trying to find GM part numbers on and comparing the years. Anyone know if they are the same, would save me quite a bit of cash. Thanks

do you have the hatch or the sedan that willbe a difference for the most part the 07 hatch has the same supension parts as the older years and im sure the 06 sedan parts are interchangeable they didnt changethe body style to the sedan till 07 so you should be in the clear... Good luck

the suspension is the "same" the difference in years is limited to sway bar size, and potentially spring rate.

ok cool thanks, I wanted to order the entire control arm with the ball joint from the 2007 part of the catalog cause it was much cheaper and get the rest out of the 2006 part since it all was pretty much the same.

search Tonkin GM use thier parts catalogue you will find your answers there in regards to part numbers/year. As far as new control arms....I would suggest MOOG they by eye appear to be the best quality and I don't know about were you are but here they have a lifetime warranty. Do check the two bolts that secure the ball joint to the arm, everyone I had was not tight enough.
