I very much appreciate the compliment. I will do an other video running on my shocks/springs for a comparison. More cameras, better views, and better sound!

I never had the time to do the second video of the springs/shocks. Now the car is up again with serious engine trouble. What pictures do you want? The video or the springs?

Wow, tons of info here. So X; mad video editing skills btw! So you went with the H/R (50701s) and KYB's on all 4? This is what I am eye balling for my roadkill rig, want to stiffen it up just a tad with a very mild drop. Your video was a HUGE eye opener, thanks for taking the time to do that. I think your rig is still down for repairs but how do you like the ride of the springs and KYB's? I am used to a firm riding daily (drove a Suby STI for couple years and was perfect IMO) but I don't want to rattle fillings out either. Will probably steer away from coilovers. I think the KYB's are the way to go for the Aveo for older geezers like me.

      Thanks

the KYBs and springs are good. Not as aggressive when heavy corning (of course) and much softer on the tushie and back at any speed. I have a nasty tendency to NOT slow down for bumps. Go for it. I spent about 300 bucks for the whole setup.

i agree about lowering springs and shocks, they will be amazing on this car for sure. where i live there are lots of twisties, so it actually does stand to the coilovers, but unless you are serious about locking down everything in your car, you don't need coilovers. But I gotta say there are some bros out there that want the handling. its as good as any high end sports car.
