      a "chug" sound while pressing the brake pedal

      hi there, does anyone encountered while stepping on the brake a "chug" sound on my first step to the brake.

      clarify the chug? year aveo? I would say potentially the dogbone mount, or bushings. But if this is specifically and engine running chug, not a car chugging issue. it will most likely be something else.

      hi friend the aveo is a asian model 1.2 liter 2005, when the engine is running only and on park or driving. the very first step on the brake pedal i feel the pedal with chug sound it is coming from pressing the pedal.thanks

      maybe it is something with the brakes, have you checked them yet?

      hi friend, while having a visual inspection of the front brakes, is the piston on the pads seats just above the pads? like i can see the piston not seating all over the pads.should it be covering the pads?because it needs to pump the pads right. but this car piston is laying where i can see the piston insides

      That sounds like a pad slipped out of the carrier? Pictures?
