      Door panel problem

      Sup fellow aveo-ers, my 2008 aveo sedans door handle(interior) is wearing out, the aluminum brush paint that came stock is wearing off and me and my pops have thought about painting it, i want to find a alternative solution so.... do you guys know any way to fix it,paint it, replace it, and where i can get the stuff for it.

      you can get one from gm parts direct, i wouldnt reccomend painting as it will wear out if not down very well, if yall are good at it go for it then

      You could also cover it with carbon fiber 3M vinyl...

      Or paint it with enough clear that it won't wear through for a long long time.

      Do you wear hand lotion or work in solvents? I am surprised the paint wore that fast.

      No, i bought it as a salvaged title, but the price is was right and it my car was in perfect condition and you couldn't tell it was in an accident. So technically it would be under warranty but the insurance company put a block on it, thats just what they do...sadly. I like what serega12 said, i think i'll try some 3M tape.
