      Cabin air filter

Does anybody know if the Aveo 5 SVM without A/C has a cabin air filter? I read the manual and removed the glovebox and I'll be damned if I can find it. It looks like they all have one, maybe I am blind.

most cars put the filter in the rain tray on the passenger side. try looking there. i dont know if it has one or not. but i am leaning toward yes cause i think mine has one and no ac.

      Re: Cabin air filter

My '07 Aveo5 SVM with the optional provision for installing an a/c (but no actual a/c,) does have one, and the manual shows where and how to change it on page 155. After pulling the glovebox you unscrew the metal bar that goes across, then you can unsnap the filter and pull it out. I've pulled mine to vacuum up elm seeds that got sucked into the ventilation system and ended up rattling around against the filter. Perhaps the ones that don't have the a/c provisions don't have a filter?

Thanks Rotar, I found where to take it out in the manual, and got the glovebox out but did't see the filter. I will look again.
      thanks again.
