Would these work on the 2011 sedan? I am interested in switching them out. I was able to take off the two tone signal lights from my old 1996 Suzuki Sidekick and put them into the front signal lights. So they are white in the evening when turned on, and when they flash they turn orange. But i'd like to switch the bulbs.

From what I understand, the 2nd gens are a lot more difficult. I have a 2009 Hatchback and I was told they weren't just plug n play like the 1st gens. You have to solder them in. :/

      Do they look like this?

10 x T5 Blue LED Car Gauge Dash Speedo Dashboard Light Bulb Lamp | eBay

I'm thinking to buy them for change too!

i wouldn't use those, those are the small bulbs for the turn signal light and e brake and what not, if you have the first gen aveo, this is what is in mine, i know that you do have to sodder the second gens in, and its not that easy here is what i used:

      10pcs Xenon White T10 Wedge 5 SMD 5050 LED Light Bulbs 192 168 194 W5W 2825 158 | eBay

note these are white, if you want blue search t10 blue led. usually the ones that cost a little higher are us sellers so you'll have it usually within 3 days, and if one dont work, they will send you newones without sending the old ones back.

just the t5 bulb will replace the lights in the ac, there are 4, and the t5 replace all the indicator lights from the turn signals to your trip, mileage light.

In the 1st gen you need 5 T10 for the gauges and 1 T5 for the odometer. Then like jonelledge said the indicators and such are also T5.

yeah that would work, make sure the t10s are like the one pictures it distributes the light pretty evenly, the ones that you linked on here are almost just a straight beam, now the one for the trip screen is ok. thats what i have in it. but the bigger bulbs need to be like the ones i linked you to , youll be more happy with them. also if you order 4 more of those t5 bulbs you can change the a/c back lights, so instead of green they will be what ever color you get, but i haven't been able to try to change the indicator light on the buttons though on the a/c button, the recycle and defrost yet. im not sure if you even can, but all i can do is try. if you do the a/c lights, the unit dont come out all the way, so be careful when you remove the lights, they turn a 1/8th to a 1/4 of a twist, and pull out, there is a little light harness with the 4 lights all connected with it, so if fairly easy to see if your interested in doing that.

if its the first gen aveo, the socket base twist out and the bulb is in the socket/ adapter, i believe it is a t10 bulb its one of the really really small wedge type bulb, mine was easy to get out at the odometer, but the a/c back lights in the a/c unit are the same bulb and type but they were a little harder to remove the small bulb from the socket. i had to take a small screw driver and pry on each side of the bulb till i could grab it and pull it out. hope this helps you
